The Hidden Jewell cottage has two units, a one bedroom and a two bedroom.

The one bedroom can sleep up to six persons. There is a comfy queen-sized bed and two queen-sized hide-a-bed sofas. There is a full-sized kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, electric stove, and table with six chairs, so you will find it convenient to whip-up a snack or cook a large meal. You can also curl up with a book or watch TV. The bathroom has a shower / tub surround. Just call or e-mail to make your reservation.

Hidden Jewell BedroomTowels are providedThe two bedroom can sleep up to nine persons. There are comfy queen sized beds in the two bedrooms. In the living room, there are two queen sofa-beds and chair that converts to a single bed. Convenient meals are snap in the full-sized kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, electric stove, large table with six chairs and TV. The bathroom has a shower / tub surround. There are also two decks that over look the property. Just call or e-mail to make your reservation.

We provide bed linens, towels and dish towels. (Please bring your own beach towels.) The kitchen is fully appointed with dishes, pots / pans, eating and cooking utensils.

There are board games, playing cards and books.

Wild RabbitsNature's Splendor

Catch a glimpse of the many wild animals that scamper by the Hidden Jewell. There are deer, rabbits, foxes and lots of birds that are regularly seen. The area is a birder's delight. Down by Jewell Lake, vistors will often see loons, osprey, eagles and other birds as well as, a beaver or two.

He-Man Boat LandingExtreme "He-Man" Boat Landing

There is access to quiet and private Jewell Lake via the extreme "He-Man" boat landing. Jewell Lake was formed from iron ore mining, so the access is very steep.

If you are not up to the "He-Man" challenge there are 21 lakes within a few miles of the Hidden Jewell. That are convenient and less of a challenge.

Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle on area lakes, rivers and mine pit lakes. Or you can try a ride on a Trikke or Bicycle. Equipment rental and transportation is available to any area location through Cycle, Path and Paddle in Crosby.
